Sword of Darkness 
				part 10

	"Misty...."said Ash in disbelief as he stared at the girl he had been taken from
him by Mewtwo.  "Ash....Is it you?"  She ran to Ash and hugged him.  "I'm so glad to see 
you Ash!  I've been so scared.  Mewtwo has been keeping me here and....."  Ash interupts
her.  "NO!"  and pushes Misty back.  "I SAW YOU DIE!  I scattered your ashes at sea.
You can't be alive!"  Ash exclaimed.  "But I am.  Mewtwo has been keeping me here.  
I'm so glad you came to...."  "NO, NO ,NO!  YOU'RE NOT HER!  YOU'RE NOT MISTY!"

	Ray looked in shock.  "I don't get it.  What's his problem with her? 
I don't see why they're arguing.  She's kind of cute."  Ray then jumps on 
Shane punding his face screaming "She's twelve you pervert!"  "Uh mabey 
he meant like Kawai cute"  Mac suggested.  "With Shane you don't take that chance."
Ray responded.  "Understood.  Continue."  

	As Ash continued to Yell at the girl who appeared to be Misty Ray, Shane
and Mac felt a pressence.  It was weaker than Mewtwo but still a wicked and powerful
psychic preasence.  Then It appeared in front of them taking a human form.  

	"Greetings.  You have come to accept my maaster's challenge.  Allow me
to introduce myslelf."  He said but was interupted as Mac coughed "CLICHE!"
"If you're done.... I am Shang Tsung.  I was sent to make your visit more interesting."
Tsung formed an energy ball in his hand.  "You won't be needing your souls anymore,
so I'm going to add to my collection."  "The Hell?  I can't believe this load of 
garbage."  Said Shane.

	Well having monitored the situation long enough I made my own entrance.  
The beach where they stood grew dark.  A massive vortex opened and out came 
my ship.  I sat aboard.  "Gomisaki.  See the bad guy.  Give him a few rounds.
Gomisaki follwed my order and fired off a volley at Shang Tsung.

	Tsung looked up at the incoming blast.  "Fool!"  He said giving a hard glance
at the shells and using his psi power detonated them in mid air.  he then pointed
the enrgy ball in his hand to the sky and fired back.  It didn't seem like much at 
first but it grew in size and power as it closed in on us.    "Damn, It's huge!
Gomisaki, full shields."  I Yelled.  Gomisaki tried to block it but the projectile
pushed through and hit us dead on.  

	"Lord Fudo, I can't hold our position!  We're going to crash!"  Gomisaki exclaimed 
as we went down and hit the sea.

	Tsung laughed and made his exit.  Mac, Ray, and Shane took to the air and searched 
the area.  "I found him!" Yelled Mac.  They brought me to the beach.  "Frag, you okay?"
asked Ray.  "Uuuhhh.  Huh?  Where's Gomisaki?"  I asked.  "We couldn't find her." 
Mac replied.  

	Panic rushed through me.  I on instinct went to Megalo mode and dove into the sea.
I was so pumped with fear and adrenaline that I couldn't tell how much air, if any, was in
my lungs, but I didn't care.  I had to find Gomisaki.  My emotions maintained my enhanced
form so my battered body could still push through the water with incredible speed.
I reached the sea floor and saw Gomisaki lying there in human form.  I pulled her to the 
surface and swam back to the beach, whereupon I returned to my normal form, spat out
the water in my lugs, and passed out.  

	Some time later I woke up.  We were in a new room.  "Huh?  Where the Hell are we now?"
I asked.  "Mewtwo gave us rooms here.  He said we were his guests."  Mac answered.
"Frekking wierd huh"  said Shane.  "Word"  I responded.  "Well you don't look so bad for 
someone who nearly drowned."  Said Ray.  "Gomisaki....Where is.."  "She's alive at least.
Tsung did a real number on her.  She absorbed most of the damage to protect you."  Ray 
answered.  "She'll be out of comision for awhile." he continued.  "Tsung.
Okay ground rules guys.  Don't go after Tsung.  I'll take him myself."  I said.
"Whoa, dude don't go setting up fights.  You nearly get killed in every fight you get in.
You push yourself beyond any reasonable limits of human perforamce.  If you keep fighting
like that you won't have enough strenght left to fight Mewtwo."  Said Mac.  "I apreciate
the sentament, but I'll fight as I please.  True that I need to push myself harder to 
achiev a new level but that's not my reason.  Tsung hurt Gomisaki.  That's all the reason I need."
I said as I jumped out of bead and left the room.  "But.."  Mac began but was interupted by
Ray.  "Let him be.  That's just the way Frag is.  We, on the other hand, need to formulate a plan."

	Ash stood on an outside balcony.  Misty came up behind him.  "Why won't you accept me?
I know it seems strange that I'm alive and I'm not even sure why I'm alive but I am and
that's all that matters.  Ash....Can't we just....be together?"  "I....I want to accept that
but something just seems....wrong."  

	Mewtwo enters.  Ash turns around badge at the ready.  "You!"  "I think I owe you
an explaination.  She's one of my best works.  Not only does she look like the origional
but also acts like her.  You see she's a clone.  a reproduction."  Said Mewtwo.
"What?  That's not true!"  Misty yelled.  "I cloned you from the blood on my sword.  Why
do you think you can't remember how you got here or why you're still alive.  You were born 
here.  In my lab.  But not only are you a match for the origional you are an improvement.
You were given a wide array of powers as well."  Said Mewtwo.  "Powers?"  Misty asked.
"I wanted to leave a human that could be trusted not to destroy the planet.  of course no
existing human could do that so I had to create one.  She is the beginning of a race of 
gaurdians that will pretect the world.  As such I gave her powers that will grow as she
matures.  Now I want you to show him those powers."  

	Mewtwo held out his hand.  Misty held her head in pain.  When she stood up her eyes
were glowing.  She made a fist and generated a small energy sword.  "Now, strike him down!"
Mewtwo demanded.  Misty lunged at Ash, but stopped and inch from his heart.  Ash was 
too shocked to move.  The sword vannished and Misty's eyes stopped glowing.  "NO!  I won't hurt 
him!"  Misty screamed at Mewtwo.  "Interesting.  I must have left too much of your memory 
intact.  I'll have to erase it."  Mewtwo Grabs Misty.  "NO ASH DON'T LET HIM TAKE ME!" She pleaded.
"You....aren't Misty.  STOP ACTING LIKE HER!  YOU'RE NOT MISTY!"  Ash Yelled.  Tears streamed
down Misty's cheeks as Mewtwo telleports away with her.

	Ash continued to look out over the horizon.  He was gritting his teeth.  he fell to his 
knees and slammed his fist into the ground.  "I hate to kick you while you're down but that was
rather irresponible" Said Mac who had just entered.  "What, are you here to lecture me too?"
Said Ash begrudgingly.

	"WHAT!  A fragfic with so little Frag" you say?  Sorry but I introduced Ash for a reason
