"Man, what is that noise?" All it sounded like was someone saying, "Mew," repeatedly. When I finally woke up enough that conciousness returned to my mind, I saw a tiny pink animal in front of me, repeating, "mew," in a very high pitched voice. "Oh, it's a mew. A MEW!?" The little guy moved back at my exclamation, but, came back, motioning urgently. "Okay, okay. Computer: Translation!" His voice did not change pitch, but, at least I could understand him, "Are you the Gaurdian Doss?" I thought for a second, "My name is Doss, but, I am no longer a Gaurdian, I retired over a year ago." He looked down, "Oh, can you then tell me how to get to the Supreme Gaurdian Council, I have urgent news for them!?" As I watched him, he seemed distracted, looking every which way, almost whimsically floating in the air. "You won't just waltz into the Supreme Gaurdian Hall, even your teleportation skills are useless. After Kun got in there and killed all of the former Gaurdians, that hall is nearly as secure as the Vault." I noticed the small inclination of its head, "But, I can listen, but, how did you get in Nexus Central Command?" I smiled as he started to float around happily, "I am helping Fudo Ryuo, he got me into this place, and told me to look for you."
"Oh, great, another Frag sceme, what now?" "It is not your friend, but, Mewtwo, he has gained acess to the Sword of Darkness and Lucifer's Key. He is now looking for the Sword of Light and the Ultimate Force. As well, he has taken JigglyBlock as his personal project. He is a trainer as well as a Pokemon." I just stared at him; the Sword of Darkness, the Sword of Light, Lucifer's key, and the Ultimate Force. All part of a cosmic balance of God's and Satan's influence of the Vortex. Two represent good, two evil. But, it appears Mewtwo overlooked the pinnacles of those representations, the Chosen Ones. Well, if both were still around and both were at full power anyway. Cordran is dead, so that subtracts the Chosen One of Evil, and I'm lucky to get to 25% power now-a-days. Not that 25% of infinitesimal is bad. "Yes, I will relay your message, but, where is Mewtwo. I will try to stop him myself." He was in the middle of a loop-de-loop, "How could you stop him, Fudo was not able to stop him?" I walked over to the glassed-in case on the other side of the room and pulled out my uniform and weapons, "I have my ways."
"MEWTWO, I CHALLENGE YOU!" The room I appeared in had nothing but a high backed chair. It didn't look like anyone was there, but, when the chair turned, I saw the genetically altered; "perfect" pokemon. "How did you gain access to my dwelling?" I stood still, but, I was shocked at the telepathic voice in my head, "Dang, and here I was expecting you to say nothing but, 'Mewtwo' and say it verbally at that." He was taken back by that comment, "You speak sarcastically at the hour of your doom? How quant." He lifted a hand, and extended his psychic powers to strangle me. But, I simply lifted my hand and blocked it, "Okay, Darth, your little tricks don't work on me. You might want to try using your sword, though, that may work." He shrugged, and the sword appeard in his hand, "You are more powerfull than you appear, but, with my full power I will smite you!" I think my laughter got to him, "As you wish, Sword of Darkness: Destroy this insulent fool!" The beam that fired from the sword hit me square in the chest, and burned RIGHT THROUGH!
"I figure a psychic-type Pokemon would have noticed that was a copy of my real self." He turned around, shock evident on his face, "Who are you?" I put on a hurt face, and mumbled, "You get out of the main-stream of things, and poof, your a nobody. Oy!" Then to him, "I will let you figure it out, and I'll just tell you now, stop your little 'peer into my mind,' thing, all it will do is keep playing 'Rock the Dragon' while your on hold." He stopped, "I'm not that evil! It matters not, you will die soon enough." He tried that blast again, but, this time it was the real me, and my real sword. "That blade, it stopped the blast, but, that is not the Sword of Light, what is it?" I decided to tell him, "Your right, this is not the Sword, but, a similar one, this is the Blade of the Chosen One." His eyes opened wide, "Only the Chosen One can weild that swordddd," he understood. "So, you are the 'mighty' Chosen One, not very impressive, are you?" That hurt, "Well, at least I am not a clone, a copy, one only created to follow the will of your masters, and will never go past the shadow of Mew." I felt his anger, his seething, I had hit the mother of all nerves, "YOU DARE SAY THAT? I WILL DESTROY YOU NOWWWWW!!!!!!!!" He pummled me with power and blasts, and just kept going. "Mew two, you won't beat me, aaahhhh, I AM THE CHOSEN ONE!!" With the boost of power, I repelled his attacks, and came near defeating him, till JigglyBlock appeared, "JIGGLYYYYYBLOCCKKKKKK!!!!!" Damn, this guy always tries to knock me out! I moved one hand and knocked Jigglyblock back, but, before the attack hit, Mewtwo had teleported to him, and they both left into the Vortex.
"So, you took it upon yourself to go out and defeat Mewtwo by yourself, Ray, this is the stupidest thing you have done yet." It was not the reprimand that sucked, it was the fact that Shane was doing it! "Listen, unless you guys have not realized, I technically don't work directly for you guys anymore, I work for the academy, as well, I can still pull rank on all of you." They were all curious about this, "And how is this? No one forced you into retirement." Shane was looking me in the eye, wanting an answer, "Easy, I can still kill you all without any trouble, and anyway, if you guys have not forgot, it is the purpose of the Chosen One to rid the Vortex of evil, and I think he falls in this catagorey. Listen, you guys hold the Sword of Light, wheather you know it or not. The Sword of Light is created when your rings are combined, so, if your not going to help, I'll join Frag's Renigade Force and fight Mewtwo with them." Shane looked like I had honestly hurt him, "FINE, GO WITH THEM! GO! LEAVE, WE DON'T NEED YOU ANYMORE, A JANITOR OUT-RANKS YOU AS IT IS, SO, JUST LEAVE IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT TO DO!" I am SO glad I was prepared for the Force Blast his anger flung at me, and glad I was still strong enough to deflect it.
After I found Mew, I had him take me to Renigade's hideout, and signed in with the good guys. But, for once, I was not sure I was doing the right thing.
