Winter

"It's so cold here. But soon the sun will shine again. Soon will be my coming into the world of man." All is dark. Two ghostly eyes the only source of light. In the darkness the voice speaks again. "The time is right. All is ready. HE has reached his full potential. It is time. He will herald the new age. But first he must be reborn." Then a second voice manifests. "Then shall I make the first move." "Yes,....hmmm. HA HA HA HA HA! CRY HAVOC AND LET SLIP THE DOGS OF WAR!"

"How long has it been Gomisaki? How long since it happened." Frag sat on the darkened bridge of Gomisaki. He stared blankly into space. "It's been twenty years now Master." Responded the human shape of Gomisaki. "hah. and yet Because of this Jurai power I don't look a day over nineteen. And what becomes of the others? Cut off from the NCC the others are middle aged by now. I envy them. their lives are precious for they are so short. Possibly over by now. Shane still on the run. Ray is probably insane. Mac is...God know's where. And the renegades. how many have fallen. how many stand. What adventures have they had. I could be the last one now. I only wish I had not this power. So I could die and be free. I was born a prince in bondage. Though of noble origin I am but a slave to the power that directs my every move and ensures I must never know true love." Frag swishes some manner of alchoholic beverage in a crystal glass. He hurls the glass to the floor shattering it into thousands of tiny sparkling fragments. "Please Master Fudo don't be so violent." Gomisaki pleaded. "I TOLD YOU NEVER TO CALL ME THAT! FUDO IS DEAD!" Gomisaki raised her arms in front of her face. Frag halted and realized that his hand was already drawn back. Frag gathered himself and sat back down. "Gomisaki find a planet at war. Let's see if if the coy mistress will dance with me tonight." A few moments later Gomisaki speaks again. "There seems to be a martial arts tournament being held on a nearby planet. Since this universe is open to interdimensional trade it's likely that many universe hopping fighters will be there. It's even rumored that a super human has entered the tournament." Frag smiles. "Take me there Gomisaki. It's been so long since I've tested my metal against a real oponent." Frag stood up and cracked his neck. "I've weakened through lack of competition over these years. I hope that they will have an oponent who can somehow challenge me. I ache for the opportunity to fight an enemy stronger than myself."

The next day on a small planet roughly the size of pluto. the entire planet was mishapen and had been converted into one massive arena. The crowds were actually gathered on orbiting satelites and watched the duels through viewscreens. Frag was already prepared to take on his first oponent. "ENTERING THE RING, self proclaimed space pirate extraordinair, FRAGRAHAM LINCON! And his oponent the meched out wonder of the intergallactic wrestling arena come here to test his metal. SENOR ES MUY LOCO!" Screamed one announcer who was quickly followed by another. "I feel sorry for the guy who's taking on Senor Loco. This guy isn't an ordinary opnent. Flesh against adamantium isn't a smart tactic." "so you'd have to say that Senor Loco's oponent is a little loco himself."

The green masked mountain of man and metal stepped up to Frag and promptly spit on him. Frag wiped it off and rubbed it on Senor Loco's shirt. Senor Loco drew back for a punch. No one even saw what happened next. Frag cought his arm, ripped it off and proceded to beat senor loco senseless with it. "Relying on Machines you will never achieve your full potential." "OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!! DID YOU SEE THAT! THE CHALLENGER BEAT THE ALL TIME CHAMPIONE IN UNDER HALF A SECOND!" "THIS IS INDEED A SAD DAY FOR THE INTERGALACTIC WRESTLING FEDERATION. BUT IT LOOKS LIKE WE'LL HAVE NEW COMPETITION FOR THE BIG LEUGE TOURNAMENT NOW." Frag only remarked to himself. "That took too long. I'm getting soft."

Only an hour later Frag's next match came up. The next oponent seemed a bit tougher. This time his enemy was the classic efiminate longhair type. They tended to be stronger than they looked. In fact to a ludicrous level" "KOGATANA looks pretty happy with his oponent. Yes he's drawing his sword. I think he wants an old fashioned duel. And the promising challenger is responding with....WHOA NELLIE THAT SWORD'S LONGER THAN THE MISSISSIPPI! WHERE IN MAMA'S NAME WAS HE HIDING THAT THING!"

The two fighters charged. Frag Halted in mid charge aparently having not taken a swing. "Giving up are you?" Kogatana asked. "I've already won. Or didn't you see." Kogatana shook his sword at Frag "NOW SEE HERE..." His sword fell into a dozen pieces. Then his hair fell off leaving a mowhawk. "At least you'll look a little tougher." Frag said. "YOU!!!! AAAAAHHHHH!" Kogatana abandoned common sense and charged Frag only to be knocked unconcious by a headbutt. Frag looked angry. "I DON"T NEED TO REST BRING ON THE NEXT ENEMY!!!!" Frag demanded. On the satelite someone walked up behind the announcers and said "and the next enemy is Nyphale. "AND THE NEXT ENEMY IS NYPHALE!"

The same person then appeared before Frag. "Who the Hell are you." Said Frag. The new fighter was tall. His hair was black and braided and he wore black leather and uneven armor covering varying parts of his body. From the right side of his back though. Extended one angelic wing. "Legend speaks of a mighty warrior. A warrior whom was called a great hero. But a hero who's power was also a curse. This hero lived for battle and had a great thirst to challenge those stronger than him. But eventually enemies who could challenge him became fewer and fewer untill this hero became a villain. And many people spoke with fear of the Demon god warrior. Untill one day an angel descended from the heavens to seal him up. And at last the hero could end his long fight." Frag looked back and gave a squint. "What? I asked for your name not a bedtime story." "Fine then. I am Nyphale. I've heard of you. The super human. Would you show me the evolution of your spirit." "You'll have to earn that honor. I don't transform for weaklings." Nyphale walked up to Frag....and pinky thumped him in the chest sending him flying over the horizon...."Three two one." Nyphale turned around just in time to kick frag in the stomach and halt his orbit. "Now will you show me?" "What? I'm not even bleeding yet. Just because you can throw two hundred pounds around a planet doesn't mean you're on super human level." Frag then stood back up. He threw his coat down and launched his assault landing a punch on nyphale's jaw. Nyphale stopped his fall by balancing on his hand then spinning around and trying a leg sweep however Frag had already lept up and was decending with a flying punch. Nyphale rolled out of the way just in time for Frag to obliterate some ground. Nyphale powerjumped clear as he hucked a small energy projectile which Frag dodged. Frag then rushed Nyphale with a flying side kick but was taken out of the air by the previous projectile which had boomeranged and hit him in the back. "That thing packs quite a wallop. I see you know how to concentrate your attacks as well so you won't damage your surroundings." Frag then hucked his own energy projectile "SHINKUKAKEN!" Nyphale dodged as the projectile obliterated more planet beneth. Frag though was alread ready to smack him in the head with a roundhouse just so that nyphale was moving head first into it thus adding more momentum to the blow. Nyphale in mid reel toward the ground though countered his fall by just powerflying above and then zipped in through Frag's next barage of projectiles untill he got inside his defense and headbutted him to the ground.

"YES NOW THAT'S MORE LIKE IT. TOO BAD THOUGH. I don't think you'll measure up to my super human though. But I wouldn't be a warrior if I granted mearcy. Give it your all too Nyphale. This will be the duel of your life!" A sudden burst of energy and Frag had already transformed. He was finally after 20 years back in the purple and black. His now white spikey white hair stood and crackled with risidual energy as tiny sparks arced from point to point.

Frag went back to battle before Nyphale was even able to comment. He launched punch after punch at nyphale mixing in a few kicks Some of which Nyphale blocked or dodged and all to many for Nyphale's liking landed squarely. Nyphale though was putting up an impressive fight. Nyphale backed off and jumped back toward Frag spinning and using his momentum to launch high and low kicks and punches. While they were somewhat predictable since Frag could tell they would all come from the same direction because of the spin they were starting to sting even when he blocked. Nyphale then mixed his wing in which Frag also attempted to block. with that blow nyphale backed off and frag positioned himself to charge a projectile then sensed a shooting pain in his arm. His armor was cut and nyphale's blow had gone halfway to the bone. "SHIT! I didn't see that coming. That hurt like hell. EAT SHIT AND DIE LAMER! MEGALLO KNUCKLE!" Frag shot forward with a flying punch using his uninjured arm. Nyphale cought his fist and quckly found his wrist broken though frag's momentum was stopped for all but a sucker punch over the jaw. That is a sucker punch that would take a normal person's head off. But to nyphale just a sucker punch. Frag's feet slipped which he used to his advantage to turn into a drop toe hold knocking Nyphale over and then quickly put him into a submission hold. Nyphale Kicked out sending Frag a few feet before he could regain his balance. Nyphale was then already on top of Frag and then halted in mid air above him and Dropped a seventy foot wide energy beam on Frag's head. Frag didn't come out too well.

"SON OF A BITCH. I COULDN'T DODGE. DODGE THIS BITCH! CRYO CANNON!" Frag shot out a beam which left a frozen trail. Nyphale managed to put up a shield and halt it. when the attack dissipated there was a collumn of ice hanging in the air and Nyphale's hand in an ice cube. Frag grabbed the end of the pillar and pivoted it above nyphale then drove it streight down on top of him and sending both into the ground like an enormous tent stake. HE blew a hole right thought the ground and it hit Nyphale some point underground. the depth of which was marked by the shock waves which tore out horrizontally and cut a layer off the planet.

Nyphale emerged very toasty and fell to his knees. "Very good. I congratulate you for beating me. and thank you for showing me your other side. Now I will show you MINE!!!!! UUUUAAAARRRGFGGGHHHHHH!" Before Frag's eyes Nyphale lost his human shape and changed into a huge demonic monster. "YOU DIE NOW!" It said it it's barely intelligable voice. The Creature Had one Huge arm and one huge but smaller one.

He used his large arm to clobber Frag and hold him. Nyphalye then threw frag in the air and extended the claws from his smaller arm stabbing Frag. Frag spat out blood as his Flesh was torn. He could tell the varying claws had ripped his heart, lungs, liver, just about everything but his his brain. Frag unable to breath or even pump blood was dropped on the ground as his blood gathered in a pool around him. The creature raised its foot over Frag's head. "GOODNIGHT BRAVE KNIGHT." with that his foot came crashing down crushing Frag's skull. The warrior lay dead. And all was silence.
